“Customer Care in the Restaurant” workshop
In the afternoon of May 17th 2017, “Customer Care in the Restaurant” workshop was held at Villa Hue hotel’s meeting room, HUETC. This workshop is diriected by Ms. Alice-Rose Mick, principle speaker – a volunteer from WUSC Vietnam.


Ms. Alice-Rose Mick shared her expriences in “Restaurant customer care”

         There were deans and deputy deans of departments, Deputy Manager and staffs of Villa Hue hotel, teachers of Hotel Department, Fundamental Subjects Department and Foreign Languages Department.  

         With over 10 years experience in hospitality & catering industry, especially in restaurant service & customer care, and over 6 years in Volunteer Management with NGOS, Ms. Alice-Rose Mick shared her perspective on good customer service, approach to measure customer satisfaction and the steps and responsibilities of customer care in the restaurant.

         There was an animated discussion between attendees at the meeting. By analyzing strengths and weaknesses of Hue Purple restaurant of Villa Hue hotel from Trip Advisor.com, Villa Hue hotel staffs, teachers and deans of HUETC departments had a practical and objective view of their position.

         From three different guest comments about Hue Purple Restaurant, the staffs would learn from the negative comments of hotel clients and look for positive solutions in order to overcome the drawbacks and promote the strengths of their customer service performance at Hue Purple restaurant.

In addition, through the meeting, teachers updated their curriculum with an appropriate and progressive content and improved their lectures that are cosy, lively and effective.
